Summary Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud and OpenShift Engineer to join our dynamic team for 5+ year. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift on various cloud platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture and hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies.

Role and Responsibilities

OpenShift Deployment and Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Configure and optimize OpenShift for high availability, scalability, and performance.



Container Orchestration:

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Work closely with development teams to streamline the deployment and scaling of applications



Cloud Platform Expertise:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud services while optimizing for cost, performance, and scalability.



Automation and Scripting:

• Develop automation scripts and playbooks using tools like Ansible for the provisioning and management of OpenShift clusters.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for cloud resources.



Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices for both OpenShift and cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.



Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Set up monitoring solutions for OpenShift clusters and cloud resources.
• Troubleshoot issues related to container orchestration and cloud services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
